Pilates Tip of the Month: Neck Tension

Feeling tension in your neck during exercises like The Hundred or Series of Five? Totally common and fixable.

It usually means your neck is taking over instead of your abdominals.

Over time, you’ll build the strength and awareness to support the curl. For now, hold the curl as long as you can with good form. When your neck starts to take over, simply place your head down and keep going.

The exercise is still effective with your head down.
